Daring Bakers : Cannoli

Le challenge Daring Bakers de Novembre, un peu à la bourre en ce qui me concerne, était proposé par Lisa Michele de Parsley, Sage, Dessert and Line Drives et consistait à faire des cannoli. Les recettes initiales proviennent des livres Lidia’s Italian-American Kitchen de Lidia Matticchio Bastianich et The Sopranos Family Cookbook d’Allen Rucker; recettes de Michelle Scicolone. Donc les cannoli, c’est italien, c’est bon, et je connaissais pas du tout. La recette se trouve ici en PDF et en anglais.

The November 2009 Daring Bakers Challenge was chosen and hosted by Lisa Michele of Parsley, Sage, Desserts and Line Drives. She chose the Italian Pastry, Cannolo (Cannoli is plural), using the cookbooks Lidia’s Italian-American Kitchen by Lidia Matticchio Bastianich and The Sopranos Family Cookbook by Allen Rucker; recipes by Michelle Scicolone, as ingredient/direction guides. She added her own modifications/changes, so the recipe is not 100% verbatim from either book. So, cannoli are Italian, tasty, and were until then completely unknown here.
