We got cherries in our vegetables parcel in the last three weeks. On the first week, I ate all the cherries. On the second week, I ate 3/4 of the cherries. On the third week, I wondered what to do with the cherries. I first thought of making clafoutis, but I was kind of afraid of the « dessert redundancy » with the remaining baklava (I had made a lot of it, actually 🙂 ). As the weather was hot, I finally thought of making ice cream. So I got Perfect Scoop, by David Lebovitz, out of its shelf; I had bought it a few weeks ago but not yet « inaugurated ». I looked into the index for « cherries » and asked Pierre if he preferred a cherry sorbet or almond/cherry ice cream. Not really sure WHY I asked, I pretty much knew the answer 🙂
