Je me suis fait un cadeau hier : j’ai investi dans un Joy of Cooking. C’était pas vraiment prévu, je suis tombée dessus à la librairie, je l’ai ouvert, j’ai commencé à feuilleter, je me suis installée dans un fauteuil qui traînait là, au bout d’un bon quart d’heure à bouquiner je me suis dit que j’allais l’acheter ! Et, pour l’inaugurer, j’ai ouvert une page au pif en me demandant quoi manger ce soir, et je suis tombée sur le chicken parmigiana.

I made myself a present yesterday: I bought a Joy of Cooking. It was not really something I had planed: I stumbled upon it at the bookstore, opened it, skimmed through it, found myself a nice comfy armchair, and, after a long 15 minutes reading, told myself I’d buy it. And, to inaugurate it, I opened it at random asking myself what we’d be eating tonight, and found « chicken parmigiana ».
